Design Concept and Style
The interior design concept blends classic Middle Eastern arches, lush greenery, and statement chandeliers with a modern material palette of marble, warm timber, and brass details. Rich green accent walls, illuminated shelving, and the black‑and‑white checkered floor frame Qinwan’s gift boxes and dessert displays as hero elements, turning the café into a gallery‑like setting that reinforces its luxury positioning.
Furniture Strategy and Zoning
To match the operational requirements of a busy mall café, the furniture layout carefully differentiates between indoor retail and café zones and the open terrace seating along the mall corridor. Inside the boutique, compact café tables, lounge chairs, and long upholstered banquettes maximize seating without disrupting circulation, while the terrace outside the storefront uses lighter café chairs and marble-top tables to invite passing shoppers to stop and sit.
Custom Furniture Details
Hongye developed custom marble‑top display counters that align with the café’s linear service lines, integrating under‑counter storage and clean, flush glass showcases for desserts and dates. Cane‑back café chairs, upholstered banquettes, and round café tables were tailored in size, finish, and upholstery color to echo the architectural arches and palm‑inspired ceiling details, ensuring visual continuity from entrance to back‑of‑house.
Production and Inspection
Before shipping, Hongye organized a full pre‑shipment inspection for the custom furniture in the factory. Each cane‑back chair was checked for frame stability, weaving tension, upholstery stitching, color consistency, gloss level of the black wood finish, seat height, and the alignment of brass leg caps, ensuring that what the client saw in drawings and shop pictures matched the real product delivered to Qatar.
To protect the custom café chairs during their journey from the factory to Qatar, each piece was first wrapped in thick foam and bubble material, with special attention around the cane back and lacquered wood frame.
